Do you see the similarities between Hailee Steinfeld's pretty Prada dress from the Golden Globes ...
and this Suzy Shier dress?
I, for one, am glad its not an out and out knock-off, but rather draws inspiration from the former. Which I don't think is as bad as copying something stitch for stitch.
Secretly, I had been wishing since I saw Hailee, that I had the dough (and youth) to rock the original , but the $30 Suzy Shier dress is really more in line with my budget. I am not sure I have figure to wear it though.
I am a bit conflicted myself - I abhor cheap knock-offs of bags and shoes. But I am very curious about this dress.
What do you think? Do you think its wrong for me to want the Suzy Shier dress knowing its an "inspired" version of the Prada?
Or do you think its OK as its not a complete rip-off?

I think it looks quite nice. Not every knockoff is good, but this one is ok.
