Monday Musings: Weekend update and wedding outfit ideas

Its been hot and humid in Toronto the last few days. I am not complaining, I am GLAD its not snowing LOL

I am just completely knackered from the weekend, not to mention broke. Had to take the car in for servicing on Saturday - went in at 9:20 and didn't get done till 2:15 - basically wasted the entire morning waiting around for it. Then of course it cost WAYYY more than I had anticipated.

Saturday evening I went to see John Fogerty - it was a great show. People were dancing in the aisles, people were swarming the stage - it was a great evening.

Sunday was a complete wash - all the household chores had to be done of course. 

One thing I managed to do was pick up my evening dress for a wedding reception I am attending this coming weekend. I am not a rich person and this is probably the most expensive dress I have ever bought. Its a very unpractical dress too - I have no where else I can possibly wear this again to LOL 

Here's what the back looks like:

I paid CAD$218 plus taxes for it from BCBG store at Pickering Town Centre. Its not a BCBG dress, though, its by Max & Cleo, and its called "Vivian". Bloomingdale's has it in stock here.

I am planning to wear my JPG for Melissa shoes with it - here's a pic - those are not my feel btw LOL

I think they will pick up on the green colour on the fabric of the dress. 

What I am worried about is  what the HECK do I wear to the Church?

I have this Joe Fresh dress in black with white polka-dots. I *think* it might be ok to wear to church? 

I guess I will see. I have a ton on dresses I never get to wear so I will pick something not too inappropriate.

What do you think about my outfit choices? Yay or Nay?
